4 payment journeys redesigned in 1 week, in a project that would usually take at least 3.

Trio is a B2B fintech. Its clients create charges in internet banking and send their customers a payment link that opens a web checkout with Pix and boleto.
A live feature that had to keep working throughout the redesign.
Designed by someone who had left the company, with no one to ask why each decision was made.
Pix Automático required following the Central Bank's Journeys 2, 3 and 4, described in a 51-page guide.
It had to ship as fast as possible, without giving up the design system or handoff quality.
More than 40 screens in three parallel flows, each one in desktop and mobile.
Before creating any screen, I located the mockups and requirements already in the file and confirmed them as the source of truth.
Claude turned the Pix Automático guide into a map of Journeys 2, 3 and 4, with required fields, states and deadlines. I validated the map and decided what went into the flow.
With the agent connected to Figma and the OLO design system, every screen was built with real components and tokens. I gave it a reference node and a short instruction, then reviewed and adjusted.
I delivered the file with 1,541 layers named in a single pattern, and the confirmation animation already in tested code.
Claude worked about 4.5 hours over the week, across some 150 commands in Figma and code. The rest of the time was mine: understanding context, deciding, reviewing and validating.
Map of Journeys 2, 3 and 4 from the Central Bank guide: fields, states and deadlines.
Full creation flow in internet banking, from start to cancellation, with requirement notes.
One-off and recurring checkout, and boleto with Pix and barcode tabs, 100% in OLO tokens.
5 feedback screens, 2 recurring results and a preview template without payer data.
1,541 layers renamed, typos fixed and duplicates disambiguated.
6 flows and 144 interactions with Smart Animate, 4 of them for stakeholders.
Confirmation built in React with Framer Motion and plain CSS, tested with Playwright.
“Immediate charge?” and “mandatory recurrence?”. The Central Bank journey comes from the answers, with no regulatory jargon on screen.
A single path for Journeys 2, 3 and 4, aligned with the guide.
Only the recurrence fields change, so existing users don't have to relearn anything.
Summary on the left, payment on a dark panel on the right. Amount and payee stay visible the whole time.
Icon, message, details and actions. Every state says what happened and what to do next.
The 3-second celebration plays once and stops. Since Figma's player loops animations, it went straight to code.
Before, Pix, boleto and success were one-off screens with little information after payment. Now they all follow the same pattern.

At the end, I asked Claude for a technical retrospective of the session. Every misstep became a reusable skill for the next feature.
The first recurring flow was built before finding the existing mockup, and most of it was thrown away.
The first boleto came out with hand-picked colors and had to be redone in OLO tokens.
Three rounds of Figma animation before finding out the player loops on its own.
“In node X, change only Y” beats open requests. Ambiguity costs rework.
